Is that a serious question? They totally collapsed.

I didn't watch the game, of course they collapsed in terms of the final outcome but I was asking about the process. Did they play really bad and that is why they conceded three goals or was it because Liverpool went above and beyond their level?

I asked the question because I thought our loss yesterday had much more to do with our mediocre performance than Atletico being great. If Atletico had been as bad as BVB was in the last 30 minutes today as you suggested, we would have scored three goals, even with that kind of performance yesterday?

It is a genuine question I ponder.

Yes, Dortmund was bad in the end. They decided to continue to press high and not sit deep which is okay in general but their pressing was disoriented. Huge space between the lines and not structured at all. When they had the ball the did not manage to keep hold of it so it was easy for Liverpool to create good moments in the opposite half.

Atletico has an amazing defense. They parked the bus against us but knew when to change rhythm a bit and press high to keep us away from goal when we were not in positions to break quickly.

Fuck that shit, save this...

England will have 5 teams in the CL next season.

Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool :coffee:

Yeah 5 is the limit.

City should get 4th place in PL ( they won't win CL), so that's 4 places with the possibility of L'pool winning Europa, which would make 5.

I think the fact that Liverpool have not won a relevant trophy in what, more than 10 years?, had an impact on their motivation.

And the fact that they played around half the matches Barça played over the past 2 seasons, had an impact too.

But hey, they're middle of the table in a league led by Leicester and Spurs! What a motivated team!

Its Klopp. The way he motivates his teams and gets them playing in the first few years is outrageous.

Put him in charge of this barca and MSN would have no problem getting up for the big games.

I obviously dont like liverpool but after seeing the way they were welcoming the team bus before the game and how up for it they looked i was rooting for them. Possibly the only ever time in my life. Well played pool.
