You mean another team wasn't going to reproduce such a misfiring performance in front of goal as we did.

Valencia are a pretty bad team...hell, we could have taken a 2:0 lead, 5 minutes into the game.

That's true...

But still doesn't change that they had nothing to play for at least

They still showed better attitude than Valencia.

Suppose they had pride to play for and didnt want to finish bottom with 1 point.

Valencia were not as bad as some are making out and should have been 1-0 up. Think had that gone in they win the game. Both sides suited being the one to sit back and hit on break and Lyon probably unfairly got the first goal.

Jam ur far off it. Valencia were not better. Lyon had maybe three times the actual scoring chances on goal in the first half. Valencia struggled to get forward other than a Paco header that made the keeper stretch from a cross they were struggling the first 60 minutes. I had no doubt they were going out from their display from the jump.

Valencia has played 8 straight matches without a win in La Liga, their worst streak since the 2007-2008 season.

A reality check for Gary Neville so far. I wonder if he underestimated the competitiveness of La Liga as most English usually gloat about the Premier League is the most competitive in the world and La Liga is a two and a half hosre race with others just for filling up the league. Don't know exactly what type of football his team want to play as well. That said, I admire him coming out of his comfort zone to accept the challenge but not sure he is able to last the rest of the season now.
