Mikel Camps (FC Barcelona executive board spokesperson) during Braga vs Real Madrid, talking about Viní Jr: "It's not racism, he deserves a slap for being a clown. These stepovers are unnecessary and meaningless on a football pitch." @La_SER

LOL dont say that before the clasico, he will be on fire

True. Don't get him geared up before the game.

I always find it stupid and low IQ when some people wants to dictate how a player need to "PLAY" football.

Neymar was targeted because of X & Y move every game when he came here, and the BOARD was raging to defend him..

It's like "hey play like a German or you no good".... stfu

I don't mind Neymar playing like wants, but his way of showboating actually harmed his general game and also health more than helped and was boring/innefective most of the time antway.

The Vini situation has just escalated. The idiot fans think it's acceptable to taunt him with monkey chants and that it's a common thing to do nowadays just because it's Vini. Need to impose bans on those who think it's ok to provoke players in that manner.

With Ney it never got to that point, he got some kicks here and there but it never became a big thing, even if he showboats more.

Can totally see him spotting some kid at Montjuic doing it after having a stinker of a match and it escalating to obscene proportions provided the exposure

What stuck in my mind is Samuel Eto'o walking off the pitch during that Real Zaragoza game. That's one of the first instances, for me ever, witnessing reaction from a player against racism from the crowd.

The banana incident with Dani Alves vs. Villareal as well. But Dani played this down in a legendary way and shut the crowd. It was embarrassing for all people attending.

I think there were few more incidents in Italy during that period.

There was also a game between CSKA Sofia and Tolouse in play-off stages of UEFA Cup (it was called at the time) in 2008 or so, when a Nigerian player from CSKA was sent off in the added time, 90+7 and his own manager was caught by the sideline microphones shouting "Да еба майка ти, тъп мангал!" which roughly translates to "Fuck your mother, dumb charcoal!". His own manager. Not giving any names to spare the controversy.

Vini is right on his own, but more he plays the racial card, more he turns crowds against him. Like Gerard Pique and his misunderstood (or not) stance on Catalan independence.

How come other top black players aren't so targeted? He has a brain of a child and has that typical victim mentality of low iq people.

That a person is more likely to react is in no way a green light to target them that way
You're better than this

True but it is nothing new that in football players have been attacked in nasty and malicious ways by fans. That includes race and other things like sexuality or personal life etc.
Nothing excuses the abuse he gets but sometimes feels that he gets a lot more sympathy and airtime than other players who experience the same. Madrid fans dont tend to talk so much about how their own fans racially abuse opposition players.

Spanish football is full of hypocrites on racism not only Real.

The clubs almost all condemn it when own players subject to it and then say nothing when own fans dishing it out.

Just gets used as a political issue to pointscore rather than one clubs seem to care about on a human level.
