Wayne Rooney

So who do consider world class in our team then?

Because Tevez is playing better here than he ever did at United... so if your theory is correct, we have better players now than United did then? :hmmm:

Your finding it difficult understanding my statement, I am saying that Tevez is playing better than he did at West Ham because he has great players on the wings and in the midfield to support him and assist him.

Sigh. I think I've posted this around 4 times now, bored of Man Utd fans.

Ducky is right, your a shockingly average team offensively without Rooney. I personally dont know why Utd fans are settling for it, I'd be so ******* off if I was a Utd fan. You wasted £30 million on Berbatov and that is the only reason he was chosen over Tevez last year. You had two players who were not playing well, but one of them worked his socks off for the team while the other stood there. Like a big lazy waste of money. What's really bizarre is that Ferguson didnt even need to spend that money on Berbatov. Tevez Ronaldo and Rooney worked brilliantly first season round, buy a cheap back up striker and actually strengthen the worst part of the team, the midfield. Anderson-pretty poor-had alot of potential aswell, Carrick-average, Scholes-someone explain this joker to me? I think he's the only professional footballer I've ever seen who doesnt know how to tackle. If he's that ignorant of how to do it then he shoudlnt be on a football field until he learns. Either that or he's a malicious little **** who goes in to hurt and injure people. You can choose, either way, he's holding back the team and long past his best. Giggs isnt a CM, and although he plays well in that role against weaker sides you put him against someone like Barca and he gets pwned, its not his natural position. Valencia and Park-not really the best are they? Alright players, I'll give you that, but come on, they arent anywhere near the standard Utd should have. Beckham, Ronaldo, Giggs-to name three, then...oh. Park and Valencia. They do their job. But other than that....

Berbatov and Owen are really not good enough for Utd. Owen wasnt a gamble because you didnt pay anything for him but he's long past his best, Madrid ruined him, sell him off to someone like Tottenham at the end of the season. Berbatov-lazy, nowhere near as good as he was at Tottenham, your not even getting half of 30 million if you try to sell him now because he just doesnt do anything. You could have spent that money on the midfield, been stronger for it, and not got pwned in the CL final. They are embarrasingly poor partners for someone with Rooneys quality, he deserves better.

Vidic-great defender, but along comes a fast striker and he just looks like a moron. I have no explanation of how poor Ferdinand has been recently. Its bizarre. Evra is quality, and I like Rafael and Fabio, but O Shea is average at best. They also need a keeper, a decent young one, because at some point soon VDS is gonna run out of steam...

Its poor, not good enough by my reckoning if I was a Utd fan. They had the chance to spend and they didnt.

United fans are settling for it because their team is one point of the top of the premier league, one cup better off and in good standing in the champions league. I do accept that United havn't had great performances this year as they did compared to the fantastic 07/08 season but they have been gritting out results when performances have been poor and destroying teams when performances have been good, and thats what great teams with quality players do, and on top of that United have been contesting on so many fronts with a make shift defence at times. At one point the central defensive partnership consisted of Fletcher and Carrick, the inconistencies of constant parternships have been so much with the likes of Brown, Oshea, Evans and the midfielders mentioned having to cover in. Despite this, United have been able to conjure up results and keep low conceaded goal stastics.

Replace every time you used the word Utd with-Rooney. Plus your not going to win the CL, you as a Utd fan should be more than aware of that...I dont know about the PL, if they win this year then my god standards have dropped.

And who are these so called great players that we have?

Are you trying to convince your self and others that team success operates based on individual performances? In this case, Tevez being the only reason for City's 4th or 5th spot standings. Well then I say your not a really supportive City fan. Maybe you should look at the statistics for your team, analyze the other players performances, look at who has been linking up with Tevez, who has been supplying the deadly long ball, etc. I am not going to give you a list of names, I don't feel City have too many world class players, but they do have quality players which do compliment the attack.

Are Citeh a one man team then? How many games did Citeh win before Tevez came back for the Chelsea match?

Why can't United win the CL?

Why are you always bashing on United? Obviously Rooney slotted a goal past your 'best' team, am I right?

Maybe so, United are almost in the quarter finals and we all know anything is possible from there on. Anyway, if as you say everything is based on Rooney, then having the worlds deadliest player on your side won't be a bad addition :worthy: Rooo.

Erm...no? But Utd are?

Because to win the CL they have to beat either or both of/Madrid, Barca, Chelsea-and you'll lose against all of them if you played them.

Because they had a chance to become one of the most amazing teams there has ever been, no jokes, if they'd kept up how it was going then fucking wow. But they messed it up with crap signings. And I'm a Barca fan, if you'll remember rightly he failed to score against us? Remember? No?

We are only joint 4th because of Tevez and Bellamy. That is a fact.

We rely far too much on them and it's no coincidence that when Tevez left to see his baby we didn't win a game and the moment he comes back we beat Chelsea at SB. Apart from Johnson and maybe Ade I'd say none of the other (attacking) players have been good enough.

So yes, our success is based on individual performances.

And still no reply to my comment on Paul Scholes. Your Utd fans, please go right ahead and attempt to cover up that area of his game....expecting some lame remark like, "Oh we all know what Scholes is like, its ok for him to break a leg or two, its alright, because he's Paul Scholes!"

Yeah Scholes is a wreckless player at times but he is an outstanding player and at his ripe old age he still can put those deadly through balls through, his creativity won't go away even if his legs may have gone to handle 90 minutes. He is a legend at United and we will always love him. :worthy:

He's a professional footballer. Why cant he tackle? It's not the same as not being able to header, because if you cant header you dont headbut someone. If you cant shoot you dont kick someone. You have to be able to tackle. So why cant he? Is he too lazy to learn?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OMG?

did u actually just say that? he has never broke anyones leg to my best knowledge.
AND paul scholes is one of the finest players i have watched live, i find it incredible that you cant see that,

Great passing range, great Goal scoring midfielders, he hhas been one of the finest midfielders of the last decade, and in the mid to late nineties, So that actually was the most ridiculous statement i have ever read on this forum..

Tryin` to be hated
Scholes is a butcher. Somehow I like Gattuso who is also dangerous on the field but I don`t like Scholes..
