Sorry their on to something else now. Could be posted on their website though, but they don't always put it on there.

He played really good unfortunetly missed a sitter today that could prove to be important.
I dont think he played well, he was isolated. Just cut a frustrated figure with long balls being launched at him in the quarter finals of the champions league. He plays with a largely ordinary team offensively at both Man Utd and England.

don't beleive everything you read in MARCA.
Rooney has apparently according to rumors turned them down twice in the last few months. Which also prompted the snearing comments from Calderon to Perez.

There's been an official statement on Man Utd's website from Rooney in January saying he's happy at Utd. Calderon mouthing off basically saying, Perez cant get Rooney. And lately Marca attempting to distance Madrid from Rooney. So pretty concrete that they were sniffing around.

legend.

I feel so sorry for him in an england shirt.

I mean he has to carry united at times, but at least he has team-mates there that know what they're doing and don't bottle it all the fucking time.

I can't decide if his reaction was unbelievably petulant or totally awesome.

crackin' player though.

Do you know how much the ticket, travel and accommodation costs for the ordinary joe having to put up with that abject performance from him and the team?

He was a tosser for saying it.

Pathetic performance and pathetic comment... it would have been one thing if he had looked like he had been trying to do well, albeit the entire team sucked but still. He deserved the heckling from fans

To be fair, it's the fans own fault for their ridiculous expectations of England, who get comfortably outplayed by teams like Mexcio/Japan/Algeria. And yeah, I feel sorry for Rooney too, poor service in every team he plays at, but at least United have someone who can pass the ball in Scholes.

I feel bad in the sense that the entire team did BADLY and he was the only one who spoke out about it so he's getting all the flack. but it was still a comment that shouldn't have been said in the first place, and it made it seem like he was acting like he did great and didn't deserve it which wasn't true.

but the players themselves said that they can win it.so...
they increased the fan's expectations.
all themselves to blame for being arrogant

and booing them is really gonna help eh?

it's like paying for a movie ticket then leaving before the end because you're not entertained.

it's a pessimistic childish reaction. make the best of things - show your support and try to buoy your players.

as a liverpool fan, I'd expect you'd understand that.
