Just what Barcelona needs, an expensive ball-on-the-ground striker! We haven't bought one of those in months! Maybe 40M + Iniesta would be a fair deal!

 nothing less than Messi plus 40

blueduck?

You can bet your ass it is the 142523652632634636 banned Ducky.. he is too stupid in that matter.. just provoke him and he will come splashing giving himself away

Fergie: "Rooney's agent has intimated he won't sign a contract and wants away."

He'd have a hard time settling as he would struggle to speak Catalan (I mean he struggles with English). And would we want a player who stabs his club in the back after the troubles he has had off and on the pitch through which the club have helped him constantly.

He's a reasonable player but Villa is superior (albeit going through a sticky patch). A tall targetman striker with a reasonable skill set and who is mobile is more of a priority.

If anyone buys him for over 30mil.€, it would be the dumbest deal of the year. He wants out, everyone know he wants out, he's got year left on his contract. I say yes, only under 30mil. and because Messi fancies him :D. Btw, Roooney is a great player, he would be perfect for CF role at Barca.

sort of expected this, but in the interview Sir Alex looked hurt, really hurt never seen like that in a interview before, he looked defeated

and before maz says anything :p I could still be right on the contract issue. it just means fergie and united have called his bluff and said "the offers on the table, take it or we'll sell you."

I can see this speed up Fergie's retirement. Losing Ronaldo was one thing considering how much money they got for him. But Rooney was supposed to be England's chosen one, I think Sir Alex is going to have to walk away after this. He's finally lost control.

I'm sure he is hurt.

he constantly stood by rooney, tried to protect the retard from himself, guide him to be the best player he can be, and the little ingrate has thrown it all back in his face.
