Rooney is definitely world class, he has his flaws (mostly attitude-wise or events off the pitch that screw him up) which have hurt his game on several occasions but on his day he is a class player. And I don't even like him.

And Premier League teams can't defend,the last few years the defending has been a disgrace on both a tactical and individual level.South American national teams,Napoli,the majority of Spanish etc are the pinnacle of defending nowadays.
