If we weren't idiots we'd go for Jardim who is an outstanding coach.

That Monaco team in simply incredible.

You're right, that would actually require us to be proactive. He'll get snatched up by a top team and eventually we'll look back and wonder why we never went for him.

The poll is so depressing but I would honestly take anyone over Unzue at this moment.

Lol. You can forget Unzue. I doubt even our stupid board would be so dumb.

Jardim has done an outstanding job with Monaco but the board want Barca DNA

I'd like Pep as president not coach.

Pep came at the perfect time. Messi was still young, Xavi, Iniesta were approaching their peak and the boss Puyol was still around.

If he came now he's improve us but it wouldn't be the same. Even he knows it.

There are some changes since yesterday - Sampaoli is heading for the dream Argentina job. No longer a candidate.

Didn't Bartomeu himself stated they were considering a world class manager? I just don't see Valverde fitting this category. Having spent two years at Barca at the dawn of the Cruyff era doesn't automatically give one a BarcaDNA.

Jardim, also since yesterday, is everybody's new favorite. He would be great candidate, adding the fact that he is born Barcelona... but in Venezuela.:barcascarf::D

Well honestly there are only two world class managers that were ever mentioned in this context: Allegri and Pochettino.

Koeman and Sampaoli are also good candidates IMHO but you can't honestly say they are "world class" level.

But then honestly who is WC level in this moment except those two? Pep, Conte, Mou, Ancelotti, Simeone, Klopp and that's it. Maybe I forgot someone but the list isn't big anyway.

Yep, I also do not consider Koeman and Sampaoli to be "world class". In the end the term "world class" to me is just fancy thing said by Bartomeu. He could be negotiating with anyone who's been at Camp Nou for the past 25 years. Even Hristo Stoichkov.:bartomeu:

Pochettino is yet to win any silverware, so far he is doing great in underdog clubs. Actually what makes Tottenham so consistent in the last two seasons is that mentality, playing without pressure. Though he himself underlined the other day he won't be coaching Barcelona because of Espanyol rivalry.
