MD saying the club asked Allegri if he wanted to come. In the same piece they say Robert likes Jardim a lot, and have asked about him to Mendes, his agent.

Not much truth in it. It's normal to have conversations after the game, but Juventus are flying high right now and Allegri must be crazy to leave such a magnificent squad.

Don Balon came up with the story Bartomeu being very fond of bringing Antonio Conte to Camp Nou. Another BS.

If Juve win the CL (unlikely, they always choke finals) it would be the perfect timing for Allegri to say goodbye.

I like both Jardim and Allegri. Much more proven than the likes of Unzue and Sacristan or even Valverde.

Imagine something else - Monaco knocks out Juventus in the semi-finals. Would you still want Allegri under these circumstances? We lost in the Champions League because of our own players, manager and tactics, not because Allegri is some sort of a magician or genius. That doesn't mean I don't like him, he's done wonderful job, especially for someone who received so much hate when appointed as manager of the team.

Juventus played outstandingly well in defence and were clinical on the counters. It's nothing new in our history - Bayern also achieved it under Jupp Heynckes against us back in 2013. Whoever gets appointed as manager of Barcelona knows he has a lot of problems to deal with - player egos, contract terminations of half of the squad :D and etc.

I think Unzue will be best to take up the challenge. He'll be able to motivate the players considering he's liked by the team and also he knows the squad well and already knows what he'll need to change and adjust

That's why Pep is struggling a lot elsewhere..

What about the fact that opponents over time learned how to defend and easily score on counters against Pep's system?

Even Pep had problems in his last season here.
After that both Barca, Pep and Spain had problems with a too possession based football.

Maybe we don't have players anymore, but that system would be surely less efficient in 2017 even with prime Xavi and Iniesta.

Teams evolve and learn how to neutralize and outplay certain tactics all the time.

I don't believe that for a second. That team would dominate today as it did back then imo. Teams would still try to park the bus and hope for the best. There was no surprise factor in that team. Everybody knew what they had to do to have a chance of stopping it, mean steel defence and score your chances, hoping at the same time Barca is going to have an off night at finishing their own, more numerous chances. Otherwise, tactics were very out in the open. There is no magical solution today, more than it was back then. We are just a worse team, making the same old tactics and some new ones as well, more efficient.

Apparently Blanc's agent recently spoke to media and said that Blanc is ready to coach again and that "priority is to coach abroad, namely in Spain or England". He also said that "no one would refuse to manage Barca" although there is no offer from us.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if squad wanted Unzue and noone to rock the boat.
Unfortunately, we've come to a point where we do need some big changes.
