Or Hugo Lloris, because he is French and plays without underwear. Or Pinto, because he's better than Valdes and his tail is damn cool. What did happen to Diego Lopez?

I would love it if we got De Gea, easily the best available GK in my opinion. His reaction saves are superb, he can play the ball on the ground, and he's young. What more do we need?

That's a weird statement to make. He's as much "not that good" as Thiago is "not that good", given that he just turned 22. I don't see any United fans celebrating that Barcelona might want to take him away from them. This is what they have to say:

I wouldn't want us to sell as I think he's already a fantastic shot-stopper and definitely has the potential to be the best in the world, but would the club sell him if Barca offered more than we paid for him?

He is still in dreamland playing for Man United. Plus, he seems to be enjoying the 'toughening up' process in England. He could have as good a career as Schmeichel if he sticks it out.

The club won't be tempted to sell just because "there is a decent offer on table". Either the player desperately wants out, or just isn't good enough. That's when we will sell, and right now, De Gea isn't in either group.

Unless Barca want to spend £50 million then he won't be going anywhere. The Ronaldo sale has changed peoples perceptions of our transfer dealings. He was an anomaly, we have no reason to sell. De Gea has barely started his career with us yet.

I don't rate de gea. He can evolve into a good gk, as he is too young, but from what I've seen from him, I wasn't impressed.
