Too much doom and gloom on this place. And for what? A 2nd place finish and a CL quarterfinal where we were better than PSG in 11 vs 11. All this with a team in financial trouble who could't even play the home games at home.

Too many crybabies. It's why the best posters have long since left and hardcore Madrid fans pretending to be Barca fans are like kids in a candy shop here.

Everything associated with Barca is 100 percent shit. Everything associated with Madrid is to be worshipped totally and the grass is absolutely greener on the pitch of every other football club on the planet.

Happy sponges who try to drag down others to join them in their misery mire.

Fucking yuck.

It is simple reality.

Why the fuck were the local fans chanting Xavi's name? Are they sado masochistic? The football has been terrible and the results too. Not as if we haven't spent money, we have. We've been limited by finances but Xavi has had alot more say in transfers than other managers. He's had alot more protection from the media than other managers. Imagine some external losing his shit and getting all those cards. Catalan media would have a field day calling for his head.
Basically everything from the board down to the local fans is political, rotten and deluded. Next stop Rafa Marquez...another yes man. The club has a sense of entitlement it shouldn't have.

I don't think Laporta will find a way to sack Xavi. It is reported that sacking him would cost around 20M and Xavi doesn’t want to resign twice in a season. It will be interesting to see how Laporta is telling him “We are sacking you, because you said that we have financial problems! But can you leave without taking your money, because we have financial problems?”

Pretty sure he already knows Flick is desperate to join us.

Tuchel could be waiting until next week to see if Man U job will be available though. And personally don't see him coming here anyway. He left PSG, Bayern and Chelsea because they didn't bring him players he wanted, how could we do that?

"I don't like it when people boo someone connected to the club, whether it's a player, coach, or president. I prefer to have support for everyone. I'm grateful and excited when fans cheer for me, but I don't appreciate it when the president is criticized," he mentioned during a press conference broadcasted on DAZN and TV3.

"I have a good relationship with the president, and we can discuss this matter. I understand the news and the reactions, but no one has informed me of anything. I've talked to Yuste and Deco, and our trust remains the same," he clarified. "The president has always been straightforward, and I hope it stays that way when we meet. We'll need to have a conversation, but I'm staying calm. I met with Deco and Yuste in Almería, and they reassured me. No one has given me any different information."

You still don't get it. If you already have an elite squad that is good enough to win CL (not potentially, but as a fact), you don't need to spend that much anymore. But to get to that level you need to spend A LOT. It's a very simple argument even someone like you should understand.

At the moment of 2022-23, when Barca invested good money in the squad due to levers, the difference between Barca and Madrid was that of a team that wins CL vs a team that gets embarrased in the groups. That's absolutely huge.

Madrid's squad was assembled for 800m, and that is before they got Mbappe and with Florentino, no doubt the greatest club president of the modern era. There is a 400-600m differrence if you compare it to Barca's investments and that's only on the money side.

Dude at least read the comments on the tweet !! the math doesn't add app at all for RM ..

But i get the point, Xavi had way more than enough money to build something nice + the HUGE advantage of the FCB academy which some managers will kill for.

At the moment Xavi has the upper hand because if Barça decide to sack him, they have to pay him.

He has the upper hand, but he shouldn’t have any dignity left to stay after all the things that happened. Laporta is literally making a clown out of him.

Laporta is a clown himself and the club has become a circus under all these fools.

It's his right. But blame Laporta.

-renewed him in December when the world saw the teams problems and that a potential renewal should be delayed.

-Xavi stepped down publically and double downed on this (watch English interview with Henry) and the board didn't public accept this. Instead acted like a cuck.
