Xavi: "Busquets' future? He has a contract until June and then we will see. It's more a personal feeling of his. How he sees himself in the team, for me, he is fundamental. It will depend on him, more than on the club and me, but we will try to convince him."

Xavi: "Busquets? He is the key to this system, the centre of the team. We want him here for as long as possible."

The most confusing thing about Xavi is how he seems stuck in the past on one hand but on the other his teams plays nothing like Pep Barca/prime Spain at all and he seems to be completely fine with it.

Seriously, Busquets is key to what? So Dembele can blindly run into opponents and pray to somehow get the ball to Lewandowski in the middle?

He wants to blend the worst from the both eras... :coffee:

People are so odd. They actually think any manager who is asked about one of his players in front of the press, especially legends of the club, will bad mouth said player?

If anyone cares to actually check, Busi has probably played the fewest minutes with Xavi since 2009.

Xavi has not proved himself not once tactically when it matters. Further more, his style of play is like a default standard 433 format from Fifa database without any editing or customization

And this fucking stubborn moron praised Lahoz before the game?! Any other coach playing this kind of football would be living dangerously right now, but he is going to be given way too long time because of his name. At RM, he would’ve been sacked a long time ago.
