Espanyol are fucking awful and Barca were not doing enough to create chances outwith some balls into box.
Same shite.. players too far apart. Slow passing in midfield too often and ball wide an into box.
There was a period barca needed to step up and take game away from them and couldnt do it as obsessed with structured game plan.
Game needed more front foot and pace to it... brings on fucking Busi 'the fundamental'.

Good match, bad result. Nothing to see here. Bossed the game on every relevant statistic and failed to convert the many chances, then caused a stupid penalty to gift a goal for Espanyol.
United are favorites, but the tie should be close and it will be. Close to 50-50, maybe 60-40 for United.

Played slow game v a terrible Espanyol team that should be hammering.
Same issues in this team as other games.
Creating more chances v that pish is not some 'good game'.
Penalties like that can always happen..thats why better teams kill games off.

Truth. We should be winning these games by few goal margins. At least that's what we should expect.

We should have won by 2 goals minimum, but we missed easy chances. It happens.
Games two months away, but as of today Barca are favourites.

Exactly and it was point in game that it was slowing down that Xavi fucked it up.
There was a period that it was crying out for Barca to take hold and get on front foot to win it as were not creating much v a very poor Espanyol side.
First half was a coast v a shit side and could have got a couple but it is in second half Xavi didnt give Barca best chance and team got too relaxed/slow.. then brings on Busi etc.
He can blame the ref though.. always has an excuse.

Nah, Barca is trending downhill when United up.
So United is the favourite now imo. Barca looks bad.
