It should be out of Xavis hands that Busi may stay but the board will not be against it as it can push back his deferred salary to another year.

Wouldnt be surprised if they renew him for a couple years and then he heads off on loan to MLS next January... but I think maybe Tebas has already warned against that.

Nowadays the quality 9f forwards isnt as high as it used to be PLUS any superstar will cost an absolute fortune in terms of transfer fees and wages. We got Ronnie cheap. Nowadays a completely unproven forward like Endrick goes for nearly 70 million.
Football has completely changed and unfortunately we're a victim of it.

We are not 'victims' - we dug our own grave by buying scrap after scrap after fucking scrap... 2/3 of our transfers the last 10 or more years have been trash. We can afford a 100 mil forward or midfielder or whatever, hell we could even afford a 150 mil one - but we better make sure they gets us past the group stages of CL ffs!!! We better make sure we play attractive football so we can grow our fanbase, increase money from tv rights and sell more merchandise etc. We can't afford to throw HUGE wages on trash and 450 mil on Cou, Griez and Demb - we can't afford to be a laughingstock!!! It's criminal what has been done to our club when it comes to transfers, coaches and how the club has been run overall!!!

Forward line is trash compared to the world class players we had in the past. Should have phrased that better. You could bring Haaland, Mbappe and Salah and Xavi would still make the team look shit.
There's no proper structure. No balance and lack of intensity. You can see the players look unsue and uncomfortable in their roles.
