The energy and hunger of young players is very underestimated when assessing Xavi or any manager for that matter. Gavi,Pedri, new guys Raphinha and Lewa, Balde, Araujo, Christiansen, Kounde.. all are either young or just came here and have something to prove.
So Xavi does have that boost. What I am hoping to see more is him developing style of play and learning from mistakes. It took him too long to tweak to 2 pivots tbh.
Also, he had one big decision on the market and he blew it on his homeboy, the rotten Ferret.
