FDJ wasnt crap at all. He was about only Barca player that looked could cope tonight and best player.

Dembele wasnt even playing and wasnt crap in CL this year anyway.

Same in first leg.

Watched his defence he set up for Rashford play for 60/70 mins and get torn up as ETH moved Rashford to weakest part of the defence.

Yet Xavi stood and watched as Araujo played RB and Kounde/Alonso were struggling big time at CB.

As soon as changed it team at least played better.

FJD would have made the difference in our European defeats, poor on Xavi for not playing him.

Had Pedri,Gavi and Dembele v Frankfurt... dusted both games.

Had them v Bayern and Inter... couldnt win a game.

Had Pedri for first 30 mins v United and were all ove the place. Had Gavi whole game.. didnt win.

Those players should make a difference but when Xavi is pulling of these games they havent been.

To be fair Dembele and Pedri did well enough in europe but that isnt enough. Takes a coach and proper set up.

Nah massive L in Europe.

Particularly when that is what spending so much in summer and pulling levers was based on.. league and Europe.

Too many short term decisions once had that money to spend and too many signings that dont make sense to way Barca want to play.

What are the financial consequences for next season? Weren't the finances dependent on making it deep into Europa? Are we surely losing Dembele next season?
