Every team has injuries. Why should Xavi get special dispensation?

Because Barca are in a special situation in regards to signing players, meaning the squad is thin.

Normally what should be done is go to market, and invest some 100-150m and sign 2-3 more quality players. But we can't do that because of La Liga rules regarding salary space.

Hence why you can't compare Barca with United in terms of squad options.

Both Ten Hag and Xavi are good managers that are probably going to win many titles. That's beside the point.

The point is Barca need to upgrade their squad and make sure they have options on the bench to cover for injuries that happen. If they don't, then any time there is series of injuries in the first 11, the dropoff in quality is gonna be consistent. Which it is now, and which has happened in Europe.

This is not easy to do when you have La Liga setting roadblock after roadblock. It's tough.

Beyond that, there's the usual moaning about stuff.

Made it a competitive tie vs United, move on, and focus on the more important objective, which is winning La Liga.

Our La Liga run is even more impressive considering Xavi took over the team on 9th place or what it was. United, Barca, Arsenal, Napoli are the teams with the biggest improvement in the last year or so.
