OK, the level of dumbness here is reaching astronomical levels with this post. I'm out before I lose any brain cells. I'm afraid a damage has already been inflicted after reading this tripe.

I believe that you were the idiot who claimed that we only spent 40m? last summer? That is a retarded take. Do you have any financial literacy at all or are you a copy and paste monkey because Laporta used that same argument?

Lick Xavis balls. Haha

Going by rumours, they?re expecting a quiet summer on the transfer front at Madrid so I?m not sure if them finishing 2nd will kickstart an overhaul.

Barca could well be in the driving seat to win it again. I don?t see us competitive in Europe tbh, been miles off it for most of the last 6-7 years.

Madrid will get a new manager. Don't know who is/will be available, but a new manager will probably motivate them to change some things.

Highly unlikely they get a new manager and don't move on the transfer market. 2-3 players might join.

And he's still repeating it . OMG.

If you sold your house for $2 cash and bought a house for $3 cash, how much did you actually spend?.

A) $3
B) $5
C) $1
D) all of the above.

Our NetSpend was 100% 40m last summer, this is just a fact that would be & has been repeated by anyone who knows anything about football.

I remember watching sky sports & ESPN where they said, it's impressive that Barcelona managed to rebuild the squad with a net spend of 40m euros.

This is a pretty standard way if looking at things. Even the fucko I dislike the most here, said Barcelona has a good summer with a NetSpend of 40m or whatever the exact amount was.

So you clearly don't know what you're talking about, educate yourself.

which was made even clearer with the gem, great players are the ones responsible for winning the league.

So basically like every single title in the history of human civilization? Great take that smh.

Pep is winning the league, with D4 players.

Brah this breaking place.

First of all, Guardiola is winning the league playing attractive football for he is one of the greatest managers, if not the greatest one, in football history. Of course he had great players. We have great players too. What is your point?

Second, we spent a fortune on players and their respective salaries last summer, hence why we have an astronomically high wage bill. Yet we could not even compete in the Europa League.

Yet again, if a Porche is purchased for 100,000 and sold for 50,000 the following year, and a new one is repurchased for 100,000 thereafter, how much was spent over a two year period?
Referring to players like Coutinho and Griezmann.

We lost a fortune by doing just that. Coutinho. Griezmann, Pjanic. Now, this was not Laportas fault, but the only reason why he used the net spend argument is because our club had a huge net loss, yet it was spending a huge amount on transfers.

I mean, if you are going to be a copy and paste monkey, do it from anyone other than a master politician who is just trying to justify huge spending during a year of net loss.

There are some top posters here who dislike our management for almost reasonable reasons, but other than that, engaging the rest of the users who are devasted we're just walking the league in our current situation is just not worth your time. At your own peril I guess. Nothing but wasted time and bruised brain cells.

I love it when people cannot think for themselves. ;) Although, I will say it was a clever way of describing our spending, as guys like you are repeating it on here.

Lethargic display, obviously the key players are out but how do you not sub on fresh and pacy youngsters and instead play with Alba at LW?

Posts write themselves after todays performance. This isn't an outlier either, this is how we've been all year.

Xavi has earned himself another year on paper with winning La Liga, but good teams don't let that sort of thinking stop them from making a change if it is necessary.

Not saying it is necessary to make a change, but I hope they are evaluating and asking questions based on his entire work rather than just the results.

We are terrible in attacking transitions/counter-attacks. Dembele is a one man weapon in that regard, but the players have no clue how to exploit spaces when we win the ball back in our half and instead slow down the play. Kessie's fan-whistled stop in the second half made me want to stop watching Barca this season altogether for a moment.

Light years behind top teams in Europe at the moment, our depth isn't good enough without the injured four and really lacking pace in attack.
