I wonder why we couldn't win inspire of all those coaches that failed to win la Liga with the goat in our team. Lol.

A few of the xavi haters here even say, the most important players that have led us to win this league title were already at the club and we didn't need to spend on new ones.

So why didn't we win inspire of those coaches we had then, with that squad & the GOAT scoring goals for fun?.

Real Madrid league & European champions, about to make the CL SF again.

With the best GK in the world, one of the top 5 CB in the world, Benzema being Benzema, the best winger in the game.

Is shit & poore, the retarded shit I seen here.

Fake news as per usual.

The best players were indeed all there prior to Xavi bar Christensen but as per usual Jamrock misses the point.... Barca would be competing for this league as showed at end of last season. The defence would be worse but dont have to spend 220m to get Christensen.

No one I am aware of has ever said the signings didnt improve the team or Barca should not have signed anyone last summer... usual nonsense from Jamrock who as usual doesnt understand what is being discussed.

Going back to the 'Real in Europe' argument to try and boost what Barca do.

Can flip that argument and say Real must be shit if are double digits behind a Barca team that can only beat Plzn in ten games.

Usual... league only counts when looking at Barca and Europe only counts when looking at Madrid if it gives Barca credit.

Plebbish stuff. Just like 'this is Barcas most important title' in 20 years or 'club was on brink of going bust'.

Exactly.

We aren't winning the league (vs the worst AM and RM in well over a decade) because of Xavi, we are winning it despite him.

We let him spend a bunch of money we didn't have as well and he flushed most of it down the toilet.
It's so sad that someone would log in to this forum, write this piece of shit, and think that he's making an excellent point. Most posters on this forum have agreed to the fact that Xavi's recruitment has not been the best (I'm just being lenient here), and the core of players leading us to La Liga trophy were here before Xavi, but doesn't it show the fact that our older squad members were underutilized by Koeman, Setien and Valverde, and were mostly relying on Messi to get wins ??? If they could've won it without Xavi, why didn't Setien and especially Koeman when Messi left, motivate the squad to win it rather than complain about how bad it was ???. This is obviously a dumb take from a very retarded poster.

Honestly,I find it funny that people don't realise the difference a good manager makes.

Look at Aston Villa. Aston fucking Villa. Under Gerrard they were complete shite and Emery came in and completely changed things. They were in the relegation zone or near it and now they are top 6. That's the sort of difference you get when you hire the right manager. Xavi is just another a better version of Gerrard, with a better squad in a weaker league.

Brah you just be talking out your ass as usual, trying to make the crap you say make sense.

Dude said we are winning inspire of xavi, which is total horse shit, If we are why didn't we WIN! All these years "when all our best players are from the previous seasons & we had the goat?.

Why because it's fuckery, talking about compete, 😂.

We are winning because xavi has brought in players that improved the team and he also improved the ones that were already there, point blank period, so we are winning because of him not inspire of it.

It's just na stupid argument to make.

As per usual you come with, well I go flip this & then this.

Nah waste man, real Madrid are one of the 5 best teams in Europe, again point blank period.

The fact that we are 13 points clear of them, is a testament to our consistency in the league, it doesn't diminish the achievement it enhances it.

Not one person who is a respected mind in football won't put real Madrid as one of the top 5 teams in Europe.

Doesn't mean we are? Nope but it means this season in the league we have been more consistent, fact that people have to try & drag down madrid to lessen the league just speaks to their stupidity, no one with sense is buying that.

But keep rambling, I know my 40 year old waste man description of you hit the nail on the head, so you been going around trynna get my attention.

But sorry

Not sorry, that's just who you are.

Brah you are full of shite as usual and making shit up.

Jamrock clueless.

Usual... Europe is ignored for Barca but used for Real if can make Barca look good.

As said... can flip it and say Real are double digits behind a Barca team that can only beat Plzn in last 10 games.

Usual numpties who moan about the best players at club like FDJ and make out on level of Fabian Ruiz, Rabiot etc.

Then cry for Xavi when FDJ is injured.

Plebbiish.

Just who they are.

I am a Xavi critic but you have to be fair and credit him for what he has brought - he manages the politics of the club very well, he has motivated the players a lot, the intensity of the team is incredibly high compared to recent years, he is a good man manager and clearly built a sense of togetherness and has gotten the players to believe in him. Vastly improved the physical conditioning of the players also. Then also kept MATS and Dembele as key players whilst fans wanted them out.

For me tactically he can improve a lot. But it can also come with time. He deserves another season to see if he can build on this league win and improve the quality of football and then we should consider making a change if the football doesn't improve and we don't win anything next year.

Good post, he definitely has a few things that needs to improve drastically, main thing being the quality of football.

If he plays like he did this season & loses, he's gonna be out the door.

But doesn't mean we ignore the fact that he's improved players that were already here or gotten them to play at their level

Mats
Dembele
Pedri.
De jong

Brought in players that have played played a in improving the team & us winning the league.

Christensen (our most consistently good player this season imo)

Lewa(been crap since the WC though, but his goals early on were critical)

Raphinha-couple of big goals & assist.

Kounde- has to improve, but the 3 CB thing that xavi does is one of the reasons our defense has been so solid this season.

Improved & promoted young players.
Balde
Gavi

Fact that people can't say he's improved the team & won us the league, while pointing to areas and things that need to improve is just ridiculous.

Gavi hasnt improved this season and was not promoted under Xavi.. that is a strecth when he was a Spain international before Xavi got job.

Usual shite.

FDJ hasnt improved either.. just Xavi realised what a fuck up he made not rating him.

Few weeks/months ago FDJ was still over rated and giving not more than likes of De Paul, Rabiot or Fabian Ruiz by numpty Jamrock....now he is an improved player that Xavi cant possibly so without.

Usual.

MATS has, Dembele has and system suits him.

Pedri has not really improved all that much than would expect with time. Was always good player. Scoring goals and developing phsyically.

You must have poor reading comprehension.

The answers are in my two previous posts. Try reading them again, slowly this time, so you can process them appropriately.

Teams play differently when they have the goat on their team, or even Ronaldo. If you think any of those coaches told Messi how and where to play then you're even dumber than I thought. Messi chose to walk around all game forcing his defensive burden upon his teammates. His teammates chose to feed him the ball and ignore other players regularly. The coaches didn't instruct Messi to walk all game during those years, they also didn't tell the rest of the team to panic and force the ball to Messi or be clueless when he couldn't force his way into the game.

This is pretty standard stuff that everyone was free to see if you actually watched the games. Some players were already past it at that time, including Busquets, and Xavi still uses him now while he continues to be a liability. He actually wants to extend him. Too funny.

If only all that summer money was properly spent. Torres as well.

First of all, Gavi was already playing for us under Koeman when Xavi took over. Gavi hasn't really improved this season and Pedri has developed a bit but is mostly shining in a similar fashion to last season. No exponential growth other than physically for his age. De Jong was already a great player, it just took Xavi fucking up and almost selling and benching our best player to figure it out. Go figure. Mats and Dembele have been in better form though for sure, although not that impressive due to their previous form setting the bar real low.

Of course if you spend 200 million and bring in a few free agents it's going to improve the squad. Especially when our frontline consisted of Dembele, a broken Fati etc It would be hard to NOT improve the squad, even slightly, with that kind of financial investment.

The main point is HOW MUCH did the squad improve. Big money we didn't have for an older striker on the brink of decline. Absurd money on Torres, he's just shockingly bad and had no real resume under his belt other than a few decent national team performances. Raphina a good player who COMPLETELY DOES NOT FIT THE PROFILE OF THE TYPE OF FOOTBALL XAVI INTENDED TO PLAY. I repeat, he spent 50mil plus on a winger who does not fit the profile of how he plays our wingers at all, what so ever. Kounde is a solid player who is struggling a bit to fully adapt, but that probably has a lot to do with Xavi fucking him up by playing him as CB and RB every other game. Kessie, self explanatory really. Alonso, same. Yikes. Christensen has been the break through signing of the season, always a good player, but struggled with injuries. He's been mostly healthy and fantastic.

And now we're broke. Was the money well spent? Do we even play tactical football with the players he signed? Is it appealing to watch at all?

No. Gross mismanagement of our money. And RM being a beast in Europe has nothing to do with their overall quality as a squad compared to to the previous decade or more.

I don't even know what to do with this.

Okay I guess.
