Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Xavi Hernandez is so good, he sets the team up like a clown and still wins. Some have success in their veins and others do not. With Xavi and Laporta there, the scent of success most be flowing in the air of the Montjuic, for the players to breathe in and flourish forth.

The mystic power of success that emanates from the soul of Laporta and Xavi makes it seem that even if they wanted to lose they would not be able to achieve it. Such is aura of these two behemoths that he could put a team without the goalkeeper out there and still the opposition striker would miss a one on one ( or one on none in this case ).

He's one of our own. He's one of our owwwwwwwwn. Xavi Hernandez , he's one of our own. :bartomeu:

Once again while all the other Barca forum favorite managers are embarrassing themselves in their respective clubs,

Xavi gets blamed. For winning.

No matter. We will keep humbling then. Season after season

We move.

The thing is, nobody involved with the club cares about winning fans on forums who see themselves as some sort of undiscovered football experts.

The club is in the post-Messi era, operating on low spending, and winning big titles in record time despite all the hurdles and struggles. These are the facts of the matter. Everything else is background noise that is best ignored. Laporta and Xavi know what to do, and they are effectively doing it.

Last season, Camp Nou saw a record average attendance in this century from any club, of nearly 84,000 fans per game. Real Barca fans, not some of the spoiled bunch around here, recognized the hard work that has been put forward in recent years by everyone involved in the new Barca. That has been done with part of the stadium's 3rd tier being demolished in December last year. The true fans got the message and showed up in support.

Every time, in every domain, you'll have perennial moaners who aren't happy with anything and always dream about the impossible, trying to undervalue every progress that is being made and bring down the ones who make that progress possible. Our football is too boring, the defense was lucky last season, Madrid is shit, that's why we won, Xavi is tactically clueless, and so on. The amount of shit that's been posted by these so-called fans is staggering.

But the silver lining is that this doesn't affect the club in any way. The people in charge know very well what to do and are doing it, step by step. True fans appreciate this and this is why you hear fans chanting "Barca, Barca", on a fully packed Do Dragao in min 90 while trying to defend the lead in 10 men.

This is a new stage of Barca, very different from what we've seen in the past. One where signing the best players in the world is not possible anymore. We are trying to rebuild what has been damaged by a disastrous duo of presidents in recent past, and we have to fight our way back to the top despite facing adversity from every direction.

He is 'easily fooled, deluded and cant win diddly'.

So say the football experts.

Same experts that claimed Barca were so bad last season cant win for years.

Experts.

Same folk claiming cant have opinons about Barca team who do just that... Xavi kept MATS when should have played Neto, Xavi signed Ferran, Xavi signed 'old and past it Gundogan'.. Xavi signed Romeu etc, Xavi is making a mistake starting Lamal, Xavi is the man to treat Puig way deserves etc.

Same folk claim above then cry about others having opinions on Barca as if can never question any decision Xavi makes.

Usual mental gymnastics.

Xavi is just an easily fooled, deluded manager who won't win anything and thinks he can play like a pound shop City...

Oh wait... You said that... Not anyone else 😂😂😂😂

Well, he realized he can't play like City and defended the lead vs Porto, right? So he got back on track, setting up the team with realism. Only idiots don't realize this is what we need to do atm, under current circumstances.

Xavi is a realist. Can make mistakes, but usually corrects them and learns from his mistakes. Compared with the so-called fans here, who think we are better than Madrid and near City... I'd say he's a fucking football Einstein.

You just said he is delusional and easily fooled and won't win anything, now you're saying he's a realist. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Maybe you should keep your mouth shut as well because you seem to make full 360 turns in a matter of days.

The team lacks the ability to play Champagne football and win big things with it. For that you need huge funds to spend, like City did. In the absence of such funds to buy the best, most expensive players on the market, you need to learn how to suffer and come out on top.

Vs Porto, the team did exactly that, played with maturity and conscient of their own ability and limitations. As a result, group leaders and on track for securing 1st spot.

I'm a fan. Of course I get mad when the team draws in La Liga. Of course you lot being cardboard fans, you have no clue about any of that. Half of you wishes the team loses just to shit on Xavi.

Relax, it's normal. most of the fans of a global team such as Barca are fair-weather fans. Few of the non-local Barca fans get attached to the team at a deeper level, and are willing to go through the not so great times.

Likes of you just fit the norm. Moaners doing bad times, because you started to support the team just because they were the hot stuff at the time. And you can't cope with a change of scenery.

But too much time is lost with 2nd or 3rd rate fans. "Experts" moan, team moves forward.

Club is in great hands atm.

tell you what would make for a really interesting forum? If every fan simply wrote "good game Xavi!" in this thread after every victory.

Definitely more interesting than analysing and critiquing our performance, tactics etc.

I'm convinced our training sessions consist of warm-ups, random rondos, free kick videos for social media and Xavi reminiscing about his playing days
