I've re-watched the CL final a couple of times in the past few weeks and each time have come away amazed with Xavi's understanding of the game and Pep's system. Especially early on in the match when we are gaining our footing and attempting to unlock the Man U defense, which he managed to do rather beautifully around the 30th minute, you can see Xavi communicating with his teammates on where the ball needs to be played to have a numbers advantage. It's brilliant to see. I've never seen anyone else with the cerebral part of their game so well crafted.
