Lost 2 starters in the summer, motivation dropped, several bad injuries to main players, and the team declined.

Move forward. No big deal.

Haha keep at it.

Poor Xavi losing Dembele who you did nothing but slaughter and say wasnt good enough for top level and wouldnt be missed due to Raphinha.

Dembele is missed in part as Xavi never signed players with pace and could dribble up top.

Nothing to see. Quite normal to alternate good season with not so good ones if you're a team having many issues like Barca atm. Even much better teams suffer from inconsistencies.

Needed some 150m in the summer to replace Dembele and Busi and got 3m.

No.. didnt need close to that and should have bought a DM and a pacey/dribbler type profile in summer before as was argued at the time.

Poor planning.

Instead spent 200m+ on a CB to play RB, a wide player that struggles 1v1 and a 34 year old CF.

All of who will probably try to punt in summer and only get 50% odd of any fee to spend.

They are spending 27m odd on salaries for players signed last summer. One of who can barely put a couple games together.

For me it's not such a big deal. New stadium coming up, some talented players... some good days can come again soon.

Club should stay calm for now. Situation is not nearly as bad as made out.

I actually think Xavi has got better tactically at times this season.. but his own signings are hamstringing him and how team can even play.

Inigo and Romeu prime examples and having no DM/pace up top.

Still has small window of time to get it right but feels like he is going to run players into the ground with fucking games away to nobodies in cup etc and becuase his own signings are not there to offer the depth.

It is fairly bad when Girona plays better football than Barca. Must be because they have better players. :clown:

Noone is demanding big results but we do deserve better displays than this shit being served every week.

As as soon as summer, Xavi OUT. That's undebatable unless Laporta has completely drown his brain in grease. It's guaranteed that with this kind of football and decision making we're out of CL with another huge fiasco and unbearable to watch display. La Liga is also 90% lost and not even Vardrid complains would suffice to amend the showing this season. The guy is simply incompetent. It's not about results, but HOW he manages the team. Players simply don't understand what to do on the field and his general rigid tactics that he never adjusts means he has no clue what to do besides clapping hard and whining after the fact.

How come players who understood him last season, this season don't? Doesn't make sense. Xavi has 3 players from core squad missing - Busquets, Dembele and cameos by Alba. It was long time overdue, but those holes were not filled. All Barca could afford was to bring two Joaos.

I'm okay with Xavi's sacking, but to me it's just get deeper into this endless cycle of Searching for Pepo. Bring Pep back, with these Laporta finances Barca will be the same shitshow as today in CL and very soon you'd crucify Pep as well. At the end of the day you need a squad with either generational talent like Messi or Iniesta or enough cash to buy the hottest players on the market. None of them options are on the table currently.

More fool Xavi and the board if they did not realise the type of players needed as Busquets and Dembele could leave.

That should have been addressed between last summer and the one before.
