Don't think Atletico would lower his price so that Barca could afford him considering we need big reinforcements defensively first and the limited budged we have.
And yep, Koke definitely sounds good but obviously he is way too expensive for Barca right now and I'm sure there are also other clubs interested in him and maybe €50 or €60 mil. isn't a prohibitive sum for each of them...

So obviously the matter ain't that simple.

There you have it, Zubi's new signing ;)

@barcastuff: Barcelona want to renew contract of midfielder Sergi Roberto (22). They met this morning with his agent. Current contract until 2015. [md]

Why would Koke come to Barca? He loves Atleti and he's a starter there. In Barcelona he'd have to fight for a starting spot with Rakitic, Iniesta, Roberto, Rafinha etc.

As we all anticipated

Why did we sell Cesc if we knew Xavi was going to leave?

Apparently Cesc wanted himself to leave and was not forced to do so.

It was difficult to belive that Xavi was at 34 years of age a corner stone of Lucho's new Barcelona when he clearly couldn't perform as it used us to a few years ago...

Thing with Roberto is that Lucho can develop him. As if Right now the midfield is a bit weak but with development will be good with Rafinha and Roberto improving.

Lucho knows him well and can do I with him what Pep did with the likes of Pedro.

I don't.

Xavi really seems to consider leaving... But I wonder why. Probably someone told him already he'd have a reduced role. But losing Xavi, Puyol and Valdes at once is a huge blow.
