Good point. I hope for a miracle too, imo top defender needed, top midfielder and top attacker / winger. I know that is way too much for this shit board but Barca desperately needs SOLID reinforcements to cope with rm competion and to remain competitive in CL.

Don't blame people for Xavi wanting to leave when Barca need him most. He could have stayed one more year and teach the youngsters like Puyol did, but he refused.

Rac1 et al have been reporting it for a while now, since Lucho came in. Does it have something to do with Enrique? Maybe.

Apparently the board tried to convince him to stay to no avail, so they decided to let him go for free and he in return would not ask for the wages they should have paid him for the remainder of the contract (something like that), in the hope that he could later come back as a coach.

Dunno if Madrid was "massively" rebuilt but they are quite different and they won.

If Barca don't win anything next season I don't think Lucho will remain. But it will depend on how we play in general.

Don't think so, all the rumours seem to suggest that we'll try to sign a high-profile midfielder to replace Xavi (Koke most obvious one, but apparently Lucho also suggested some alternatives)
