Fucking shambolic if the three strikers the board sign are Aguero who has a fucked knee and dodgy ticker, Luuk De Jong and some cunt from Qatar who is 30.

While Messi and Griezmann leave.

Surely cant be true.

Then renew Roberto and have Pique and Busi as pillars of the team.... where will it fucking end.

Well we have to admit, we are not going to be a force for a while probably, and we have no money. Laporta has not been clear at all about that with the shambolic Messi situation and repeating that Barca want to win CL despite signing fodder like LDJ.

But it is the reality and we have to cope with these low level signings until we can get some cash.

No those are bad signings even for when have little money.

Ridiculous could sign Aguero/LDJ and some striker from Qatar and claim best can do and have to accept it.

That's just crap.
It's the same recycling of the quotes Pep once said.
And it's done to make up excuses

Good defenders can be good passers and can be good at pressing too.

Nothing Pep came up with, and Xavi said it too when he arrived - the attacker should be the first defender and the defender the first attacker, as per Cruyff.
Enrique gave it as a good explanation for the choices he made that made them succesfully qualify for another tournament, and not as an excuse.

Garcia is a very good passer as well as a very good pressing defender. But those players are usually very expensive, if they even exist. Pique, Mingueza, Lenglet, Umtiti and Araujo aren't that great, but most of them could suffice if the team as a whole worked as one unit and there wasn't idiots who lost the ball in very bad spots or didn't understand how to play.

Defending wasn't the problem? They had chances to score 2-3 goals easily, but missed tap-ins basically. Defending was massive issue.

Defending IS the problem. A top team or even a decent team should be able to sustain pressure and defend when necessary. This team has a few good potential youngsters but the mentality and culture of the club have to change. Tactical flexibility, physical conditioning and actually spending money on defenders are things foreign to this club.
We are going to be in the Europa League come Thursday. No way will we qualify. That's not Xavs fault but the club is stuck in the past. Need to break with these former players and Barca DNA. We need to move forward or we'll end up like Utd, Milan and Arsenal.

We do, and we probably will, but while the problem is simple, it's very hard to fix: money. Inflation due to mega-rich oil / state clubs is going to hurt us big time. In the past, you were able to buy players like peak Dani Alves for some 30m. A player like that right now is 100m.

But even so, with the problems in the team that need good transfers to fix, the dealbreaker this season is the injury list.

Injury list and particularly forwards is large part of it but so to is every fucking coach putting Pique and Busquets and other old player at core of team.

They slow game down to their pace.

Yesterday prime example again.. Pique takes fucking 5/6 touches thinking he is some kind of quarter back surveying the options then in end does his favourite zinged pass out wide to left wing where opposition deal with it easily and expect it. Looks flashy and achieves little most of time.

Garcia on other hand tries to get ball into midfield as quick as can and if cant he will either step forward with ball or then play longer if option.

Busquets also slows it down. Only wants ball in situations that suit him and if feels too tight will often dive for a foul before legs collapse. Again slowing it all down.

Would be far better served for Garcia type of approach from x2 CBs and midfield being structured for the more mobile and braver FDJ to get on ball quickly from the CBs and others to react to that and move into space.

Same shit. Year after year.

We won't end up like them and signing wack defenders is not part of barca DNA.
