The issue will be finding the money to make those signings for this summer when could have a year prior.
They had plenty of money to fill positions last summer that wont have now.. as was always said.
Lets see how this summer goes and what players are brought in to improve squad as is needed.
The 120m for Raphinha/Kounde should have been spent on LB, RB x2 and a CB. While huge Lewa money could have been spent on younger CF with more an eye what is better for long term future of club.
At very least buy players that suit way coach plays would be a good starter.

Haha no.. spending 120m on a CB to play RB and a RW when have Demebele was poor plannning.
Getting pumped in Europe with Busquets walking about and likes of Bellerin on the pitch or Alonso/Alba...
Much better off addressing the full backs and DM area and getting ruthless with amigos.
Lets see if they now can plug thos gaps.

Ancelotti's work.
Vinicius and Benzema went from memes to being considered the best in the world after he came. Guys like Valverde, Rodrygo, Asensio went from fringe players to playing important roles and putting in top performances. Not coincidence.
He is an elite attacking coach and seems to really get the best out of most attacking players.

Real are more ruthless and more flexible while Barca think still think they have thei unique vision of football but in reality miss the basics.
There is just no way Busi/Pique/Roberto/Alba etc would last as long at Real did at Barca.
Also they wouldnt go out and spend huge money on a 34 year old striker and think this short term.
Outwith that I dont even think Real would look at Pedri/Gavi as a CM to domimate for years.. they would most see that that as a pair lacks and if not gelling soon one of two would be sold off and try to bring better balance to midfield.
Ancelotti doesnt try to complicate it tactically.. he puts players in roles they suit and in Europe accepts that Real techincally mayu be poorer than likes of PSG/City and will play in another way if it gives them maximum chance to win.
Barca go into every European tie more or less with their tactics sign posted and in a manner teams know they can sit back and pick off as Barca have to play to their 'DNA'. All while team lacks basics and leaves them exposed.

Madrid are looking at the physical side of the game as well in midfield (Tchouameni, Camavinga, going for Bellingham), whilst we often come out with Pedri-Gavi-Busquets in midfield and Xavi even wanted to add Bernardo to that. Probably the worst midfield physically speaking you will ever see from any top club ever.
And it shows in Europe every single time, when teams have a field day with our midfield and counter for fun.

tbf Gavi is a menace, probably the most athletic and no nonsense midfielder we got since Mascherano, FDJ is athletic too.
Gavi will need time to fill his body with more strength tbf, but in no way he is a technical midfielder and not a physical one.
And tbf Barca is moving fairly toward more athletic strong player, except when they are Spanish
