Xavi: "Yesterday we tried training on a dry pitch in Barcelona. The grass really hurts us. It's bad, not only for us but also for Getafe. Look at Munir, who couldn't even shoot the ball..."

Omg :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: The meme has returned.

He is full of shit

They barely even played in a way grass had an impact.

Should be looking at likes of his wee pat Gavi before blaming thr grass.

If these performances continue until the end of the season they need to review whether he really is the man to lead this team, even if we end up winning the league.

Especially considering the man seemingly want heavy input on signings and how the squad is built and then does this with it.

He doesn't have even the slightest balls to admit we were horrible
So depressing to see that

Signing likes of Raphinha and Ferran being a coach who clearly exclusively wants 1v1 menace wingers was a big mistake.

Those two are not bad players, they can give a great level in a specific system, but in this one where they're mostly pinned to the outside they aren't gonna do much. Neither is Ansu.

So the injury to Dembele has really hurt us because we can't adapt to another type of winger.

Atletico are in a scary form right now so I won't be surprised if we drop points against next them weekend. If Madrid win their game this lead is probably down to 8 or 9 points next weekend.

It could unravel quickly unless Xavi fixes this.

Call me reactionary but fire him for that statement. Can anyone verify he actually blamed the grass :ROFLMAO:. Absolute loser mentality if so

Imagine in a serious club, with serious owners, like Bayern or Liverpool hearing their coach using that lame excuse. A fire on the spot would not be unimaginable

Xavi grass excuse checklist:

- grass length CHECK
- grass moisture CHECK

Let's give him some ideas for the coming matches. Colour? Density?

Of course, the grass was high. So high that it blinds Xavi of his own shortcoming.

Seriously, if you need a full squad to beat the likes of Getafe and Girona. That says a lot about tactical prowess of the one in charge.
