Xavi won the league and had better "Results" in the league so far but in the three years he was our manager he failed to establish an actual long-term functioning system that benefited the team and we played only well in small purple patches and him getting carded or sent off far much much over every negative decision on the pitch got tiring after awhile along with his press conferences.

While our league form went to shit under Flick in December and now, I think he's done a far better job at establishing a system and getting these group of players to play to their maximum potential and strengths when we are on it despite us still having financial problems and our CL form improved massively.

For me, it's going to be Flick IMO regardless if Xavi won a La Liga title. There are far to many negative aspects of Xavi in my eyes as a coach.

Not the biggest fan of Flick but definitely take him over Xavi, despite the bad. A fresh approach he's been working to implement will definitely leave its mark here, even if Hansi himself doesn't.

By the way, Xavi has burned bridges with the squad by publicly criticizing the players. Those expecting him to do better in comparison this season would be in for a surprise. That ship has sailed. Mentally not up to it.

Thankful for what Xavi has done but rate Flick higher.

Which is not a crazy thought as Flick is 15 years his senior. Xavi’s coaching career just started.

I was going to bring this up yesterday but didn’t feel up to it in the end. Xavi staying was ever an option. Maybe in future.
