silky_soccer said:Im with you, Yaya is perfect for us, mascherano isnt as good technically as him, plus, yaya hass a much needed physical prescence in our midfield, has a better ability to retain the ball, hes nearly the perfect DM for us in my opinion,
His role was simply supportive. Aside from a couple bad passes, he didn't mess up anywhere. I did miss some of the game, but that is what I saw.
oh f-off la furia, what you want him to become superman and move his hand away from his chest in the 0.5 seconds he had?? it takes your brain 0.55 seconds to process an incoming stimulus, make a plan of action and execute it, and yaya had less time than that to react. that was NOT a handball. the worst side of barca fans is coming out after this loss, pathetic comments from someone like you
A handball is a pretty major mess up.
Actually he was woeful, I was buoyed by his appearance in the starting lineup thinking that he'd bring the maturity and level headedness we needed. Instead he was impatient, uninventive and counter-productive to our cause tonight showing a distinct lack of intelligence in his choice of passes. Simply not good enough.
I was half-joking, it was poor positioning of his hand on his part and he did not have a good game by any means. Awful passing, awful positioning, just dumb play, the Busquets fans around here must be thrilled because while Busquets tried to sneak us into the next round, Yaya most likely lost what little faith Pep had in him. A lot of it is Pep's fault though, but unfair or not I bet this is the last game Yaya plays in a Barcelona jersey.
i'm waiting for your comments in other player threads about other players who were immature, not level headed, impatient, uninventive, and counter-productive. i disagree in your description, but if you accuse yaya of being all these things, then please go to the other player threads and let the rest of the players have it as well.
