Actually, he hasn't been playing well at all this season. I blame Pellegrini's system. Both Yaya and Fernandinho look a bit confused.

Yeah,they are the same types of players,box to box,both bomb forward and leave the defence exposed.
City have some amazing players but its impossible to fit the best ones in a good formation(Silva is forced to play on the wing,Fernandinho and Yaya together doesnt work so they need a holding mid but Javi Garcia is awful and I have no clue where Jovetic will play)

I guess it will be better when Micah Richards comes back,Clichy will be able to bomb forward without leaving the defense exposed and Silva can cut inside and one of Fernandinho/Yaya needs to stay back when the other one goes forward.

City are just idiots, 4 strikers for 2 positions. Jovetic was injured but i don't know where he would fit into the current line up, Pellegrini seems to trust the Aguero - Dzeko duo. Im starting to think that it was a bad move for Jovetic even thought it's too early to say.
