Yaya Toure

The way he picks the ball up from deep and drives at the opposition makes weird things happen in my pants. He's like Iniesta's antithesis; no finesse, pure power.

Toure (Man City): "Barça was the club of my heart, I had planned to retire there. But competition was very tough and I wanted to play more."

Yaya Toure (Manchester City): "Leaving Barcelona was the most difficult decision in my life. I loved that club and those fans." [marca]

Yaya Toure: "Which Barça player I'd sign? Iniesta, Valdes, Xavi, Busquets... We were like a small family. Pique, Puyol... I'd sign everyone"

Love him to death but don't respect him for leaving due to competition. He sold out.

With his talent and ability he deserved to be a starter. With Busi, he would have never been one and I fully respect his decision to leave. It was in the best interests of the club and Yaya himself.

I myself dont see the logic of hin being a sell out tbh.

It was actually a combination of Pep playing Busi, who at the time wasn't better than him,and Selouk...
I only blame our management for selling him in a club that had unlimited funds for as little as 27million €.... :banghead:

I believe Toura wanted to leave because pep preferred to play Keita over him... Not Busi! After all Toure wanted to be, and is, a CM not DM!!

That and the fact that he was looking for big paydays in the Premiership...especially after seeing all the renegotiations he's already been through at City...Still, he was awesome at Barcelona

He is amazing at City where he is not played as Defensive midfielder or centre back lol, only lazy times to time, or in bad shape who knows
