Don't agree. Think Bayern have actually been very effective and done exactly what they set out to do. They never look great but they are so well organised and effective when you actually play them.

You're right, quality is the largest factor when predicting the result of games. But when it gets somewhat close tactics/cohesion can have a huge impact in swinging the result. France would walk most club sides just by virtue of quality but doubt they would ever be a top team/win any major...

I agree, I think both a cup and league format should be considered when evaluating the strength of a team. A league format for the big teams, is essentially testing - who can beat teams worse than them most often. Which big team can use their quality advantage to beat up on smaller teams more...

Not surprising sponsors are pulling out. Product worse than it's ever been and most games are terrible to watch. Play is constantly disrupted by diving/fouling/cards, teams for the most part are defensive and don't score much, there is hardly any notable players outside of Atletico/Barca/Madrid...
