La Liga Round 13: FC Barcelona - Almeria 2-0

We got to a point where people call someone amazing for missing 2 clear chances in one half. How far have we fallen.

    Gerard Piqué

Cadena SER - Pique will give up the base salary of his remaining 18 months, but NOT any of his deferred wages.

    Gerard Piqué

A celebration party should be held in short order... If he gives up his deferred wages, fair play to him and wish him the total best, though I imagine this deal to 'leave' involves us paying close to or all of those wages.

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Not so much the height but the fact he is another thin, slow midfielder with no good physical attributes other than maybe stamina. It would be nice if we actually signed midfielders with physical upside sometimes especially given our midfield is very lightweight compared to all the other top teams.

    Champions League 2022/2023

I really like Nagelsmann. Admittedly I don't know much about his work pre-Bayern but from what I've seen from them this and even last season, despite Villarreal KO, and in this CL group I've been really impressed with how they play and the adjustments he makes. This Bayern so far is playing nice...

    Ousmane Dembélé

Stick that in the cabinet along with the 4-0 trophy, the least goals conceded trophy, the same points as Pep trophy, and the good first half against Bayern trophy.

    World Cup 2022

https://twitter.com/PatrickStrud/status/1588082401305153536 Just another reminder of how ridiculous and irresponsible it was to host a World Cup in Qatar.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Clocked 36.6km/h top speed in CL, joint top with Mykalo Mudryk... Bloody hell. That's fast as fuck.

    Champions League 2022/2023

PSG aren't that good. It doesn't matter which manager you put in, maybe with the exception of Zidane, nobody would make that team work. They are destined to be underachievers.

    Champions League 2022/2023

For a so called group of death, it didn't seem too hard for Bayern. 18/18 points, and not a single goal conceded to Inter or Barca (the only 2 came against Plzen). 4-0 aggregate vs Inter and 5-0 vs Barca. Whilst not being in best form and dropping a lot of points in Bundesliga. Seems like a...

    Xavi Hernández

So I ask you, who was supposed to play alongside him in this case, if we get rid of half of the entire squad as you suggest? Jutgla and Ilias Akhomach? Those numbers you are quoting is with him playing alongside Mbappe and Neymar in PSG, two of the best forwards in the world. Don't forget that...

    Xavi Hernández

Xavi : 'The goal is to win the Europa League, but it will be difficult as there are good teams in it'. Expectation management even spreads to the Europa League now, as Xavi is not even sure we can win that apparently.

CL Round 6: Viktoria Plzen - FC Barcelona 2-4

Plzen had 2.66 xG, 22 shots, 8 shots on target, with 22% possession. They've literally put on a statistical masterclass against us whilst being such a bad team. 22%. They literally had the same amount of shots as their possession.  I'm sorry but for those that think we can win...

CL Round 6: Viktoria Plzen - FC Barcelona 2-4

Think about the fact Atletico is supposed to be one of the best teams in this league. Not only can they not qualify to knockouts, they can't even come 3rd and drop to Europa League. And people here celebrate Xavi because we're in 2nd competing against teams like this. The reality is the league...

    Xavi Hernández

It's almost like there is a manager who's job it is to get the best out of players, and when very talented players play much worse than they should be doing, that he might be at fault...
