    Xavi Hernández

It'll be interesting to see how good of a manager Xavi is in knockout games. Some managers are very skilled in it but not so good in the league and vice versa.

    Ousmane Dembélé

I think actually Danjuma from Villareal is interesting.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Doesn't Nico have 0 g/a all season? Talented but... Dembele has a much better end product then people credit him for. Has like 9 assists in 750 minutes this season.

    Carlo Ancelotti

Thiago Motta at Spezia. Raul also has Castilla playing some great stuff and pressing nicely.

    Memphis Depay

Xavi has been great with the forwards. He gives them very specific roles and has clearly improved their movement vastly. Considering this, Memphis does have something world-class about him : chance creation. Although he sees himself as a goalscorer and protagonist, his numbers in chance...

    Nico Gonzalez

Nico was not really aggressive at all in the B team, so I don't think it's his nature. I think he is trying to adapt his play style for a higher level and utilise his physique more but he's not that skilled defensively.

    Memphis Depay

I disagree, I think it has a really big impact on forward playstyle especially. Unless you are a genetic freak like Adama being very heavy limits your ability to play wide effectively. You lack that quickness. Depay is built like a CF but gravitates more towards the wing so it's a strange...

    Memphis Depay

Needs to get in better shape. Muscular and all but not a football player. It's making him slow. He doesn't need to be that big and compromise speed and agility. He used to be faster when he was lighter earlier in his career.

    24 - Eric García

Soft in a physical sense. A bit 'fat'.

    Champions League

That's true, Madrid were set up terribly tactically, but we exploited it ruthlessly.
  11. A

    Xavi Hernández

Hardly anyone gets injured anymore. Half the squad used to pick up knocks every game. Something changed for the better in physical preparation.

    24 - Eric García

Depends on the person but it is pretty clear Garcia is not in the best physical shape he could be at all. He looks 'skinny-fat'. The fact he weighs 76kg (only a few off Araujo, who's like 4 inches taller) tells you it all, probably much more of that is fat then it should be, as you can see...

    24 - Eric García

You can't make yourself fast but there are a lot of little things you can do to improve it to an extent, running form, physique, weight distribution can all be optimised to make you faster.

    24 - Eric García

Mingueza has a great frame/physique for a fullback, but is a little slim for a CB.

    24 - Eric García

Garcia is very soft tho. Any time he has to closely mark a strong striker he fucks up.
  16. A

    Xavi Hernández

I think in a tactical sense they prepared for us much better than some teams recently. For example you could see they were clearly playing Adama outside and letting him cross knowing it wasn't producing much.
  17. A

    Xavi Hernández

I feel that Madrid got used to us being a joke and easy to beat. Even down to the formation, Modric false 9? Trying something like that against a good opponent shows a lack of respect. I agree with what you said. They just were shocked by our current level.
  18. A

    Xavi Hernández

We scored 2 goals across 2 games. They are a team who is bottom half in Turkey. Within their limits, they played a sensational game.
  19. A

    Xavi Hernández

Makes what Galatasaray did even more shocking.

    7 - Ferran Torres

His linkup play and combinations were very good. He added a lot today with his movement and supporting Auba and Dembele.
