Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

    Great analysis from BBZ.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

Messi is a strange case mentally in terms of top level footballers. Vast majority of GOATS were incredibly determined and aggressive players. But Messi is really passive and indifferent which is very unusual for such a legendary player. It is this that holds him back currently, most of all. He...

    Champions League

Forwards just standing around as Madrid progress into midfield effortlessly. Literally had no resistance from the forward line. RM could easily build up walking past the two PYLONS of Neymar and Messi.

    Champions League

Messi absolutely invisible. It's like playing with 10 men, the only threat is Mbappe. Bound to happen.

    Champions League

I didn't see that tbh. Even when people were right in front of him with the ball he wouldn't bother to apply pressure and just stand there in front of them lol. Mbappe is carrying the weight of the whole PSG attack.

    Champions League

You don't beat City 2-0 without being a good team.

    4 - Ronald Araújo

It is already in the works. He will be known as a traitor money whore who left for his insatiable greed in a few months. Despite the fact we are probably offering pennies. And whilst he started for the first team for nearly 2 seasons he was only on a few thousand a week. But never let truth...

    Champions League

Tbh feels like another Bayern year. On current form feel that they beat any other team but form can drastically change along with injuries etc so any one of those could be the favourite soon. Liverpool looked super vulnerable against Inter and for sure Bayern would have beat them today.

    Erling Haaland

Talking of Adeyemi, he only has 1 goal/assist in the last 6 games, a penalty.

    Champions League

Bayern have mostly had our number.

    Champions League

Liverpool were a tactical shambles the last 20 minutes. You could drive several lorries through the gaps they left in midfield. A real shame as Inter would have certainly scored another. Fucking refs ruining the game

    Champions League

Inter were gaining energy and momentum the last 10 minutes and probably would have scored another in short succession. Inter were so weak in attack that Liverpool went to sleep and started leaving huge spaces in midfield and defense. Ref bailed out Liverpool.

    4 - Ronald Araújo

All those things you wrote, especially about being dribbled past and aerial ability, are literally things he was amazing at and renowned for. He was the definition of a rock and his aerial ability was one of his best skills. You can't even really compare them properly because Araujo was...

    4 - Ronald Araújo

Ok I'm all for Araujo love but this is crazy. It's silly to say... Puyol is better than Araujo? What wouldn't Puyol be able to do that Araujo does?

EL Round 16: Galatasaray - Barcelona 1-2 agg.

People are writing that because they're 12th in their league we shouldn't take it seriously and we'll crush them easily. However, it also has an opposite effect. Europa is all they have to achieve something this season and make their fans happy. And they managed to get this far. Complacency is...

    Memphis Depay

So if you won the pen and scored the pen, you 'assisted' and scored the goal I.e you created the goal yourself. So if you won a pen and scored it, it can be counted as similar to a regular goal surely? Not fair to discount those.

    Memphis Depay

If you won a penalty yourself, it doesn't deserve to be subtracted from your total as you created the goal yourself. I think Depay won 3 of 4 of those pens. So they are similar to regular goals for me.

    Memphis Depay

It's kind of crazy that he has 10 LL goals this season especially considering he missed a couple months from injury. I think 4 or 5 are penalties but still, not a bad return. I think when he was the star man in attack he was really, really dragging us down - but if he can be a supportive player...

    Xavi Hernández

If we take the best bits of our DNA i.e technique, passing triangles, possession schemes that we know how to do so well, especially with La Masia, but also have modern intensity and more modern tactics, we can become a top team again and really it isn't even that far away. The luck factors...

    Nico Gonzalez

Tbh I think that's just poor discipline more than anything. Reminds me of Gavi in his first months in the first-team where he would get a yellow every game making dumb challenges that weren't worth it.
