    World's best midfielder

I voted for Essien. out of all the players listed, he's the one who scares me the most when FCB plays against him. he's an absolute beast. technically sound, great shot, pacy, smart, physical ... passing obviously needs to improve, but otherwise I love watching him play.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

really?? that's an awesome story! that's like a guy passing a note to the hot blonde at the table asking, "want to shag in the washroom?" while her husband is sitting next to her. incredible.

    Ibrahim Afellay

S-M-R-T purchase by the club. I love how someone pointed out (either in this thread or the new thread) that Affeley was brought in mid-season so that he can take 6 months to adapt to our system and then he'll be ready for next season.

    Lionel Messi .v. Cristiano Ronaldo

kindergarten my ass ... there is no debate here. Messi is better. for arguments sake, we'll say they are equal on goal scoring ability and dribbling. FKs would go to Cristiano, even though his goal to attempts percentage is probably horrific. Passing goes to Leo. Defensive pressure and the...

    Lionel Messi .v. Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo said that when he was born, the Football God told him that he was placed on this Earth to be best footballer on the planet. When asked about this statement, Lionel Messi said, "I don't recall making such a comment." bahhahahahahahahahahahahaha!! yea I typed it ... what? wanna...

    Barcelona Dominance...

I remember after 2006 I thought FCB would win back-to-back CLs and dominate for 4-5 years. Football is like life; everyone is running as fast as they can to stay exactly where they are. Barca must keep pushing for players who can offer a different point of attack or a different formation. if Pep...

    Lionel Messi .v. Cristiano Ronaldo

you know how much I hate Cristiano. If I saw him crossing the street I'd run him over, put the car in reverse, and run him over again. He's so self-centred and arrogant. And again, I have yet to see Cristiano track back and play defense/try to win the ball back. Until he starts to do that...

    Lionel Messi .v. Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo is not even on Leo's level/planet/solar system. aside from being a technically superior player, I cannot count the times I've seen Messi track back to the defensive third of the pitch, win the ball that was lost in attacking third of the pitch, make an outlet pass to Xavi that starts a...

    FC Barcelona Tactics

I was going to write up this big freaking post on what Pep was going to do and what Mou was going to do ... and then analyse and see how my predictions went. I honestly thought it was going to be a 2-1 or 3-2 game. but 5-0 ... geez. All I know is that Mourinho got over-run in the midfield ...

    5 - Carles Puyol

I believe that FCB should get Carles to impregnate 11 hot, athletic Catalan women in the hopes that that we will one day be able to field at least 3 or 4 of them in the first team. basically put him out to stud.
