he's dead to me now. I'm not going to see Robin Hood.

ahhhh ... good find, Rivaldo. thanks.

    Andrei Arshavin

well it depends on when he signed the deal w/ Zenit and if Arsenal tore it up and signed a new one. In the article it said: "The playmaker received a huge signing-on "loyalty bonus" when he re-signed for the Russian club in 2006, which was awarded on the understanding that Arshavin would...

    Andrei Arshavin

ok ... so B and Hektor were talking about what it would take to get Arshavin to the Nou Camp. I've done some research and I cannot for the life of me find out if he signed a new contract upon signing w/ Arsenal. The closest I can come to that is this article by The Guardian, which states that...

    Andrei Arshavin

I think Arshavin would wreck stuff on the LW or in Midfield with Xavi. I'd happily pay money to Arsenal for him.

    Fc Barcelona jersey 2010-2011

that's actually a very nice design. It's unique. this should just be our permanent third jersey. I bet you if we were wearing this in the San Siro we would have won the match.

the owner of Zenit did when he rejected our offer for a full summer and then told him that he could stay w/ Zenit for a full year or go to Arsenal. Hell ... even I would choose Arsenal.

if you played in Russia and then went to Arsenal you'd whine too.

    Andrei Arshavin

Arshavin from midfield would certainly aleviate my "no long shooters from outside the box" concerns. However, we're already going to spend a small fortune on Cesc. To get Cesc and Arshavin we'd have to finance Arsenal's stadium payments for 10 years. I'm not down w/ that.

don't forget that Cristiano needs to get the #10 for jersey sales.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

that would suck. I love Tevez (no homo). Tevez is an x-factor. someone a defender would have to keep one eye on all times. he has a knack for scoring clutch goals, and that is more valuable than any technical promise.

    Sergio Busquets

see this is where you and I differ. I hate it when our team does something dishonest to win, because it's like we're cheating. It's not like we are a team that needs to rely on cheating to win. We are uber-talented, well-managed, well-funded, well-supported. We should be able to out-think...

    Sergio Busquets

he needs to grow the f**k up. hopefully this incident forces him to act like a man. That was embarrassing. EDIT: also, great quote from Scarface but I don't see what it has to do w/ this. Busquets acted like a girl. Tony Montana ruined his entire organization because he didn't want to kill a...

    Pep Guardiola

Pep's new nickname: The Grand Chemist. I have a feeling this entire season was a grand experiment. That he is in year two of a four year plan. I'm intrigued to see what happens in the offseason.

    FC Barcelona Tactics

OK ... so ... I've had some time to think about this. First; Pep's subs: Bojan, Pedro, and Maxwell. Really, who else could he have subbed in? There was no central midfielder to play. If Hleb doesn't have his hissy fit after the CL game last year, I guarantee you he is playing for us...

    Fernando Torres

Torres in his years w/ Atletico Madrid never scored 20 goals in La Liga. Dude goes to England and drops 30 and all of a sudden he's better than Villa? A man who has played for a horrible offensive teams in Valencia, Zaragoza, and Sporting Gijon and scored consistently? In his second year for...

f**k Torres. Villa is 10x better.

    Pep Guardiola

yup ... Jose proved that he was the man tonight. I think based on Pep's success last year we all think that Pep is a 10yr guru. He's not. Just in his second year. I still feel heartbroken, but I believe Pep will learn from this and we will be better for it next year.

    Positive Thinking Cules

we played as well as we could and we went out to a team that was too afraid to play football. We will still win La Liga. And the club will learn from this loss to get better.
