Is there some possible unfair hate or bias towards Courtois for his team beating Barca in the Champions League and beating us to the title? I stay neutral when judging a player. There's been hardly any praise for him at all and what he has achieved at 22.
@JamDav1982 Yeah I agree that's stupid.. If it was an older GK then after 3/4 years Stegan comes in from number 2 and fills the role for the next 7/8 years.. or if it was Courtois he is of that age to do that anyway

I think ter Stegan should play La Liga and CL games and Willy can play the Copa games like with Pinto. That way ter Stegan gains a lot of experience and Willy still plays a lot of games.

No one here is doubting Courtois's ability. What people do doubt is how realistic it is to get him. First of all, Chelsea probably wouldn't have been willing to sell at any price. And if they did sell him, he'd cost at least 3 times what we paid for Ter Stegen.

No praise for courtois? Lol. He's highly regarded around here. There was a poll here, last summer, and he beat mats. I'd sign courtois if he was a viable option. But he's not. He would cost a lot more, and mourinho probably would make it very difficult. MAtS cost only 12m, and he is very good too.

@DonAK Stay neutral when judging a player as in I have no hate towards a player if their team has beaten my team (however much it hurts) Also why are you laughing? Aren't we all Barca fans here with opinions? I'm just expressing mine like everyone else....
Question for everyone.. I don't think they would because I believe Stegan number 1 to be a financial decision as well as his GK qualities.. but if Barca were to bring in another keeper as it's been rumoured Lucho wants to and he put this other keeper as number 1 what would your views be?

Yet you're still judging a player on whether he is fit to start for us or not based on nothing except that he is young and only had 9 clean sheets, since you've never watched him play. Almost everyone here loves Courtois! No one dislikes him because Atletico knocked us out, why you even brought that up is weird.

Courtois was impossible due to team he is at. Everyone rates him but understands he is impossible to sign. It is that simple.

@Razor Sorry I worded that wrong I won't be BIAS when the quality of Courtois speaks for itself.. just because of past meetings with Barca.
