Is he going to be your first choice keeper next year or is he still gonna have the same role as last year?

I think Bravo will still start ahead of him. But he will get his time. I am sure he will be playing some La Liga games.

I see Mats obviously as our future but I wouldn't take the league away from Bravo after him being tremendous last season. I'd give Mats copa and champions league and let la liga be Bravo's to lose.

Do you guys think he is more reliable than Bravo or they're the same?

Bravo is more realiable, consistent (which is great for La Liga fixtures) and doesn't have brainfarts like MAtS, but he doesn't have the ability to save almost impossible shots (thing that is crucial for CL fixtures), ter Stegen has that X factor in him. Though, ter Stegen will gain consistency if given some more playing time + that will come with age naturally.

You can argue Bravo is more consistent because he gets more consistent playing time.

That's why I'm for a switch of role. Serves our long-term interest better and I'd like to see how MAtS does when he plays week in and out and feel Bravo is experienced enough to handle CL + Copa + Super Cups and CWC fine. He'll have more games to play too.

Not sure about that ,even when he was in Bundesliga he was mistake prone .and didn't produce stellar performance in the Euro U_21 either .
Switching roles can serve our long term interest in developing him ,but I am more worried about Bravo consistency

bravo is ahead of him as far as consistency and concentration are concerned, currently. Period . Mat is better sweaper keeper. Has better distribution and takes those long passes to change defense into attach with single pass.

Currently as a whole its even.

Bravo is easily more reliable and his passing game is not far off Ter Stegen. People here exaggerate the difference in passing between the 2 keepers... Bravo is a great passer too.

The only advantage Ter Stegen has is his ability to sweep.

Of course you'd say that, you wanted to loan out the keeper that went on to win the Copa and the CL

Bravo's passing game is nowhere near ter Stegen's. Stegen can hit a pass to past midfield and should even have gotten an assist for it, if it weren't for those flag happy refs.
