It's funny how the Catalan media are calling this the big test for Ter Stegen. Didn't he just won Champions League and Copa del Rey in his first season with zero rhythm?

We all know Messi won it. MaTS's grandma could make double saves against Lewa at point blank range

Yep, if he can perform the way Bravo did last season, keeping a lot of clean sheets and being man of the match against the likes of Valencia (two times) and Real Madrid, I have no problem with Stegen playing in the league. It's not easy to do that though.

Kept it simple, good sweeping intervention. Could have pressed torres more at the goal, kinda stuck in no mans land, but not really to blame, torres had a good finish. Dont think he should have rushed out when torres got lose, alba was gaining and he would have exposed himself to much. GG!

He could have moved a bit further to meet Torres, but that would have been a bigger gamble. Torres broke outside the box and ball only got so deep because Torres slowed down to accommodate for the shot. If MAtS would have gone out to sweep that ball, Torres would not have slowed down and would have gotten to the ball before MAtS and who knows what would have happened.

He made himself big, gave room for Alba to try to catch up and impede a clean shot, and forced Torres to make a perfectly placed shot to get by him.

I think he did well.

solid game from him, good distribution as always, had nothing to safe ebsides the goal.

PS: with Bravo Torres would have hit the post with his shot

Has been happening since last season that I think that he is going to have a tough match now and then nothing much happens.Same as today.

Didn't have much to do and the goal was not his fault, it was an inch perfect finish from Torres. Overall he was good.

I though he was decent, nothing more. Saved whatever easy shots there were to be saved, and conceded at the only big chance Atletico had. The pass leading to Torres' goal wasn't perfect by any means. Good thing we won the game and that goal didn't mean much.

it was more on the defense than MaTS. The pass was too far for him to sweep and Torres' shot was absolutely perfect. Nothing he could have done. But if Bravo were there, Torres would have either hit the post or mis-controlled the pass in essence not scoring.
