Ter Stegen just has to keep it simple.
If he does that he will be fine.
Keep the Neur stuff to a minimum.
He has a lot of confidence and if he has a good string of games Bravo will be warming the bench for a while.

He was under a lot of pressure during knockout rounds of the cl too. The same papers were saying Bravo should start. Catalan press wanted curtosis, not steven.

Obviously he was under pressure. Much more so than Bravo who had the luxury of starting regularly in La Liga and had easier games against mid-table, relegation sides while ter Stegen didn't have the match rhythm the Chilean had or those type of easier games in the CL and CDR(except against Huesca).

He shouldn't be under extra pressure now of losing his spot. It would be disgraceful by the team management to drop him based on a couple of pre-season games. If they do that then he'll most likely hand in a transfer request in January and then they can go looking for another quality GK in 2-3 years in this ever so inflating market because of an incredibly pathetic example of man management.

If he does very well then I'd give him the league spot. Happened last season too, just opposite. ter Stegen had the better pre-season, he arrived before and trained much more with the team and got more involved in Lucho's tactical instructions during pre-season, but got injured a week before the league started and Bravo had 3 clean sheets before he returned so they decided to stick to him.

mats didn't really have a better pre-season. It's rather Bravo who didn't have a pre-season at all due to playing (and performing) in the Copa America.

That said if mats does perform I'm fine with him switching to the Liga.

He did after Bravo's blunder vs Napoli. Or you could say Bravo had a worse pre-season.
