Well, if he leaves, so be it. Barca needs a #2 keeper who is good enough to start for most top-level teams. Anyone that good is going to want to play more than they will get to as the Barca #2. So, if the backup keeper job gets someone new every few years, that is probably good.

There are about 15 player jobs on this team that will get enough playing time to keep this quality of player happy. That includes one keeper, who will be Bravo for many more years. The squad needs a second keeper, and at least 5 more outfield players, but these are not career jobs, it is really best if these squad players don't stay at Barca too long. They will only get enough playing time when there are injuries, in the pre-season, in early round Copa games and in the second match of Copa and CL knockouts when Barca wins big in the first match. They need to come to Barca after being first-division or junior starters, then if they can't break into becoming core Barca players, they need to move on and be starters, even stars, at some other team. Good examples from prior years were Maxwell, even Yaya.

Its probably BS. Most clubs he goes to will have a slim chance of winning the league let alone the chance of winning CL like us.

But if Bravo gets injured or if he experiences a sudden dip in form, where do we find another keeper that is good enough to play for us? Just promote Masip as the 2nd keeper?

Bravo will be 33 soon. He has what, 3, 4 years tops of prime form left in him?

I do believe Bravo and MATS push each other to perform to their full potential. Hopefully MATS stays, but if we lose him, I hope Bravo's form won't drop noticeably as a result of less competition.

Loan is the solution for next season if he really can't stand being the 2nd GK. Loan him for 2 seasons and sell Bravo when he comes back. If Bravo accepts being the GK for Copa alone, it would be great.

He won't be guaranteed nothing. Lucho doesn't do that.
I have nothing against rotating keepers next season though. I bet Bravo would want to play CL too.

From my understanding it doesn't sound like Barca have any plans on letting Ter Stegen go.

and he seems comfortable here.

If he won't be a starter next season, I see no point in him staying. 3rd season in a row that he doesn't play regularly, at such a young age?

A rotation should be a non issue unless Bravo doesn't ever want to play the Champions League.

The rumor about not having a deal for the main sponsor next year and the potential consequences of not being able to renew MSN.

Pls... Don't listen to Balague. He's an idiot whose Barça related news is as good as believing AS.
