He's not making up his mind during the next few days.
It's him telling the public what he'll do in the next couple of days or weeks and I expect his decision to be announced no later than Christmas.

Also, I do believe he'll join Barca next summer.

I think he will be a very good replacement of Victor. My only (small) fear is how he'll handle the immense pressure playing at Barca...

Well, he'll make/announce his decision in two weeks and I also expect him to join Barca.
Gladbach's manager, Max Eberl, also told in an interview that ter Stegen needs to "make a decision" within the next couple weeks so he can plan the squad for next season and he didn't talk about the usual stuf of being very optimistic of him staying etc...
