I'm getting Thiago flashbacks here...
I get why Bravo starts in La Liga and I completely understand why Enrique trusts Bravo more. But you know me guys, I'd rather have a goalie who can be World Class for a decade in goal rather than maybe 3 or 4 years with Bravo. It makes more sense to cash in on Bravo long term. If we sell ter Stegen now, we might have to be in the market for another distinctively unique GK if Bravo declines or wants to leave.
It's hard to find GKs that we need and we got lucky with ter Stegen and how cheap he was. He's had some good performances with the limited time he's gotten and at the very least, I think he's earned the right to get some La Liga matches. You could do something like ter Stegen gets home matches, Bravo away matches and go with whose hotter for the big CL games and El Clasico.
Bottom line: we need to learn from our mistakes here. He's earned the right to play more and I'd be irritated as well if I was in his shoes.
Hope Lucho makes the right call here.
