It happens in pro football because keepers have a lot of space to close down and they take that risk, as strikers go for corners, it's both instinct and training from a junior level (i can personally vouch for that).

As for deflections, pro football is rather crowded, the time frame to get a clear shot is narrow so this is likely to happen.

In pro football players are far more willing to take unfavorable shots as well. It's rare that a striker will just let it rip into a crowd of people and hope for the best, like they're scared of losing possession for the team.

I didn't do that, I just provided an example.
I can categorically say that mats is far far far better with his feet than bravo, he's also an excellent shot stopper.
mats>bravo
Oh did I mention how old is bravo? :neymar:

Yes, you did & it's pretty easy to do it. :pep:

I would agree on the footwork, wouldn't claim it on the shot stopper.

BTW, you know that highlighted argument is invalid when it comes to Gk, right?

Nah, it's not.
All great keepers are either young or on peak age, neuer, ddg, courtois, mats, navas, leno, hart, lloris etc.
Being old and good is the rare exception, just like in every other position and simply put bravo is not a barca keeper, sell him now.

With the rumors of Man City wanting Ter Stegen I decided to go look at the Bluemoon forum.

I shouldn't have done that. it's quite clear a lot of those guys don't want him.

Yeah. The only XI quality English player they have is Hart imo. And they say he's one of the few there who isn't a "merc" and actually loves the club.
