So annoyed with all the useless negativity going on. Complete idiocy as well, as if fans would do better at handling transfers than a professional  not saying Zubi is the greatest but please get real. 99% of this forum couldn't negotiate a transfer if their life depended on it.
The complete irony of stating Zubizarreta is bad, going on to say fans would do a better job AND adding that you would just pay up because you're nervous is just a bit too much to ignore. But yeah, do go on. I'm out.

That was a joke, a cheap shot aimed at Zubi. Are you always this serious with everything?

Are you able to deliver a message without always appearing to be sarcastic or condescending, Galning?

Just because a newspaper says something doesn't mean Barcelona should hand over an extra £2mil. He's got a year left on his contract and wants to join, Barcelona can afford to play hard with the fee

If the fans were going to handle transfers, we'd get huslted like it was nobody's business. Imagine dealing with Daniel Levy? We'd be setting world record transfer fees every season if the fans were in charge of transfers. That's Real Madrid's job, not ours.

Where is Bild saying that Arsenal and Juve are willing to pay 12m though? They write, "the transfer fee of about 12m would be no problem for either of the three clubs" - three clubs including Barça, and that just means that all clubs could afford it, not that they offered it. That's the speculation of the writer, not part of the actual 'information' they got. Seems like a blow-up of a more or less meaningless article.

A deal with Monchengladbach on Marc-Andre Ter Stegen (21) could be close. The German goalkeeper already decided to join Barcelona. [md]

Good news boys :zubi: !

They r a crap newspaper, but when it comes to football, then they r often very good connected (Bayern, Schalke) and they r much more reliable then their English counterparts Daily Fail or The Sun or the Italian and Spanish sources, that r a laughing stock and almost never right.
Just waiting for some real confirmation.
Then u maybe have to wait a little bit longer I guess:

"Everybody should get used to the idea, that until middle of January there wont happen anything."

"Fact is, that Marc has 2-3 very attractive inquiries from a sportive aspect and also a good offer for a contract extension, so its up to him now to think about it."

He also denies that he held talks with Arsenal or Juventus and that Marc definitely wont move within the Bundesliga.
