Welcome, Marc-Andre then it seems..

If he has a tough first season like De Gea in United, I hope he would at least get a solid chance for a better second. He's incredibly young for a goalkeeper and he'll come to the hardest place on Earth for a goalkeeper to be.

I remember rumours of him having spanish lessons a year ago. Hopefully it was true and he has learned a lot by now.

Alvaro Dominguez said that in an interview yes. He even said that he has been learning if for months (and the rumours were what, half a year ago?)

Mascherano will probably leave to Napoli next season.
Puyol will probably retire at the end of the season (rumours).

What Alik said is true and anyways, MaTS has a strong character. This is mainly one of the reason why people call him the new Oliver Kahn in addition to his talent.

Is puyol not under contract to 2016 cudn see him retireing unless.he perhaps thinks he is absolutely no use to the team and if mascherano leaves we would pretty much need to b siging 2 gks 2 cbs an a striker that tata is looking this summer

Both him and Reina have strong character which is ideally what you want from a keeper....if they both come the only concern I might have is whether the competition to start is productive between them and nurturing rather than a potential distraction

Cud we not just renew pintos contract have him as a sub hes more than happy to be on bench and play the odd game and have him as back up to mats, reina could come in to and have the impression hes to gd 4 the bench

Yeah Reina is not reliable being a bench player who will play once in a long time tbh like when the other one is injured or cup games. He's already proved prone to mistakes and with that role he would be more unstable. For me personally Reina generally wouldn't be a good idea at all. First of all cause ter Stegen after all will be started and will be our future keeper for long time and second for the reason i said above for the bench role.

We don't really know how much a pay cut Reina could be willing to take in order to come back home and play with his buddies, though.

I just hope MAtS won't have many of those brain farts he had when he played for the Nationalmannschaft. He is rock solid when he plays for BMG, but mysteriously unstable when he plays for the German NT.
