Are you serious Rico is always losing his job mid season, City could have called Rulli back for cheap but they paid 40 mil for ederson and Kepa just woke up. Be serious dude MAtS is a top 3 Gk with rare skill on the ball for a GK.

Everyone comparing Navas and Mats should keep in mind that in El Clasico last season while Navas was just shy of making enough saves to get Madrid the win, Mats broke the record for most saves in a single game.

Overrated? Hah.

Neymar is an insanely great player and there was still a lot of debate about his quality by several Barça fans.

We have a very spoiled fan base and using the existence of "debates" to say he is not a great player is rubbish, IMHO.

I don't understand why Courtois is even considered now. He has been less than stellar for Chelsea, even though admittedly I haven't seen many of their games. Atletico had a super defense in front of him and if he had to play with even 1/4th the number of balls as we play to MaTS, Oh boy!

Apparently, Neuer is expected to be out for several months due to foot injury and will do a surgery.

Hope he'll have a good recovery.

That said, it's a wonderful opportunity for Ter Stegen to fully establish himself as the new No.1 GK for Germany NT.

Neuer is far and away the best GK in the world. Only way Ter Stegen takes that spot is when Neuer is past it

It will be good experience for MATS but I doubt it he will "establish" himself as German no 1.
Although this is how it started for Neuer himself, Lehman retired,Hildebrand downfall, Enke suicide, Adler injured and boom he went from 5th to 1st in 2 year time
