If the deal has already been signed indeed, I really don't get it why Barca haven't announced it yet (similarly as Bayern did with Lewandowski)

It was always rumoured that they'd wait to announce the deal until Valdes announced his new club (which I find absolute BS btw, what's the connection between both cases?), but what are they going to do now, wait until Valdes' recovery in October to announce it?

I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that they (as most clubs do these days) get everything sorted with the player before talking to the club which is against the rules.

Btw, he's only got 12 months left on his contracta nd if we are t believe the rumors we'd be paying 12m for him, he's not cheap.

No doubt the deal has alreay been signed really. But there are two contradictory opinions and a lot of contradictory information about what will happen to already done deals, so all we can do at this stage is speculate.

In any case, if we appeal and get the suspensive effect, we will be able to get the deal through and be done with it, and MAtS will play for us next season.

It would be a great thing to have this window open so we can deal with our squad issues, I hope they do cease the chance. If we can transfer during 2014 but not 2015 then that's fine as long as they spend twice as much.
And a court decision isn't retroactive which means that any player we eventually sign during the suspension period should stay with us.

He has been fantastic so far today for Gladbach, keeping his side in the match against Stuttgart. Though they trail at half, 1-nil.

Ter Stegen passed medical examination with FCB in Barcelona last January 13 and will be joining FCB this summer.

13 January? Quite impressive that you know the exact date that he did his medical :worthy:

He's probably the most reliable member in this forum. He announced the Villa transfer in this forum like 3 weeks before it happened, even before most sources

In Ryan_Cule I trust :beer2:
