Yeah had good game v Valencia.

No he didn't.

Only had 2 saves in that game, both were at the center of the goal. He caught one, and this "impressive" save is actually straight at the center of the goal, the only reason he doesn't catch it is that he is caught flat-footed.

It's time to stop defending this guy.

Agree to disagree. Did what he needed to that game and played well.

Yeah he said he would leave... but that is never enough to make them sell Bravo unless they believe performances merit it.

It didnt make them sell Bravo. It forced them to choose between the two as Bravo also would not stay to be a back up.

no he forced it as he KNEW he had age on his side and the club was only ever going to choose him so yeah its a fkn ultimatum to remove his competition

Lol, Bravo. Where is that clown anyway?

We're talking as if we let go of Navas for Stegen.

Choice was simple after Stegen was very good in that CL run

No he cant force the club to do anything but force them to make a choice. He was willing to leave to City.

Cant force them to choose him over Bravo other than for reasons they believe.

Club could easily have sold him and got more money if wanted to and he would have gone quite happily.

Last 2 games he had a total of 2 saves, telling purely by memory, that Benzema grandma shot at him and tonight the header from 14 meters that, again, ended up where his body was in the center of the goal. As it was mentioned previously, I'm not a fan at all of his hockey GK posture when facing opponents 1 on 1. It's clearly not working, an elementary training move to go around a GK who has already stretched his legs out.

He and other keeper have saved a ton of one on ones like that.

Folk just speaking shite when it doesnt come off as if know better.

There is a split second to react and take a chance on what player will do. You are speaking as if he knew player would take it round him.

Too bad Mike Maignan signed for AC Milan in the summer. Think he could have been a very good option for us, and at a low cost too. Would probably come at half of ter Stegen's salary too, probably less.

Yeah not sure why people were hyped about this. Right at the center of the goal, ter clown doing is usual nonsense making a save look harder than it is.
